Anne Garrett, CPA
Anne graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelors degree in Accounting. She then went on to obtain a Masters degree in Accounting from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. After graduation, Anne went to work for KPMG Peat Marwick in the tax department where she prepared income tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships. After two years at KPMG, she was then hired to work in the tax department at a large multi-state healthcare corporation. After the corporate buy out of the company two years later, she decided to return to public accounting at Ernst and Young, where she was a tax senior for two years.
Anne was a stay at home mom for several years, but then decided to re-enter the tax world in 2007 when she joined McKerley and Noonan. Anne has been married for fifteen years to her husband Patrick, and has two boys, ages 12 and 10, who are huge sports fans. Anne stays busy attending her boys’ sports activities, and also enjoys attending Titans football games with her family.
